Biryani instant pot + instant spices

1 pack of instant biryani spices ( best brand is Laziza, but National brand is more available here)

1 small tub greek yoghurt 

3 onions thinly sliced

5 small tomatoes, diced

1 tsp ginger powder

4 cloves garlic, sliced

4 chicken leg fillet

2.5 cups basmati rice, rinsed

1 cup water (I'll try half next time)


In saute mode brown the onions with oil / butter, then add garlic, add water as needed to help browning the onions gently. 

Sautee ginger powder and biryani spices until fragrant, then add chicken fillets. until their colour changed. 

Add yoghurt and tomatoes.

Stir, make sure no burnt bottoms.

Add rice on top. and add water until the rice is covered.

Set on manual for 8 minutes, release after 10 minutes.
